Strange + Beautiful Books is a tiny extension of a vintage media horde currently situated in the CNY foothills. Curator Mike Zombek, inspired by collector visionaries such as Harry Smith and Joseph Cornell, has had a lifelong obsession with scavenging analogue media, from radical anarchist broadsides and Edison cylinders to Underground Comix and vintage VHS tapes. We are committed to sharing little-seen and surprising cultural artifacts.
