As a talented sewist, April’s patchwork and recycled designs breathe new life into pre-loved garments, turning them into one-of-a-kind pieces. Her belief that “there’s already enough clothing in the world” inspires her sustainable, thoughtful creations.
Founded in 2017 in Portland, Secret Admirer is now based in Kingston, NY, where April lives with her dog Pearl and teaches sewing and upcycling classes.

🎅 We’re swooning over the vintage Ino Schaller Santas in the shop this season! These collectible treasures, crafted by a family-owned company in Germany since 1894, are steeped in holiday magic and history. Made from hand-cast papier-mâché or felted plastic, each figurine is lovingly painted and adorned with glitter, glass beads and natural materials.
