Amy Rolnick of Accent on Design grew up in Croton-on-Hudson - home to a fair number of notable Modernist designers and artists; among them Don Wallance, Vera Neumann, Rudi Bass, Lenore Doskow, and Ethel Stein. 

Mid-Century Modern homes (among them two by Breuer), Tech Builts, and Deck Houses dotted the landscape in the 60s of her childhood, so it's no surprise that her design sensibilities reflect that upbringing. Amy also loves the geometric preoccupations of quilt makers of the late 1800s, and the vibrant colors and natural textures of ethnic fabrics – perfect complements to items of modern design. 

First born as a small gallery in Truro, MA, Accent on Design is thrilled to be back in the Hudson Valley where Amy’s love of design and decoration all began.
